Hello! I'm Lisa Morris, an independent multidisciplinary designer, strategist, and visual artist based in Charlotte, NC. I’m a bit of a rebellious thinker (yes, I ask why a lot!), as well as a lifelong explorer, experimenter and learner.  My deep-rooted love for design and art began in childhood and has evolved into over 25 years of professional experience.

As a designer, I balance right-brain creativity with left-brain logic. I revel in diving deep to understand and analyze creative and strategic problems (often both), envisioning many solutions, and bringing the most desirable, feasible, and viable ones to life. A fulfilling day revolves around envisioning and designing experiences across various contexts and mediums with the intention of enriching lives and making our world a better place. I’m perpetually curious about the relationships and interactions between people, places, and things, and I’m always intrigued by the prospect of creating a more favorable future. Driven by empathy, creativity, and action, I aim to enrich lives and strive for execution excellence.

As a visual artist, I'm a lover and crafter of letterforms uniquely formed to convey powerful messages. My abstract works explore the blending of unexpected colors and textures, meant to stir deep emotion and introspection, while embracing imperfection as a human quality.

I began STUDIO L, leaving behind the illusion of security in the corporate world to pursue what truly brings me to life - supporting others in transforming their dreams into reality. My intention is for the studio to serve as a source of strategic and creative collaboration, inspiration, and partnership. In many ways, Studio L represents a return to what I love - doing meaningful work that fills me with purpose and joy with people who enhance my life.
